How To Manage Social Media Campaigns

As we continue our social media marketing journey, there are always new settings and strategies to implement. With that said, it is easy to get overwhelmed with all of the different platforms you can use for your business and the possibilities of ways to promote them.
That is why it is important to have regular time frames to update your profile pages, run promotional campaigns, and monitor results.
This article will talk about some simple ways to manage your social media accounts on a monthly basis. We will also discuss how to organize your account levels (paying attention to what level you choose may help you find one that best fits your business) and whether or not to add more people as followers or fans.
Once these things are done, you can begin focusing on other parts of social media marketing.
Set goals

The first step in managing your social media marketing campaigns is having a goal. What do you want to achieve with your campaign?
It’s impossible to measure the success of your campaign if you don’t have this initial goal. You may hope to generate more traffic to your site, but unless you know what “more traffic” means, then it’s hard to say whether or not you succeeded.
You can use quantitative metrics such as how many people likeed or commented on an article, but these aren’t very insightful. It’s easy to claim that a comment made you feel happy, for example, so your engagement level rose today.
What about those who disagreed with your argument? Were they unhappy today? Or did they show their discontent by commenting less frequently?
Qualitative data is much better because it exposes deeper truths. For instance, you could look into which comments received the most likes and why. This would reveal something about your audience and yourself as marketers.
But all too often I see marketers taking short cuts when it comes to gathering meaningful data. They make assumptions instead!
For example, let’s assume that your target market loves ____ (insert product here). So you create a tweet promoting the product using keywords related to the product. Your followers will probably share their love for the product by liking your tweet.
Develop a strategy

The first thing you need to do is decide what kind of social media campaign you want to launch. This will determine how you structure your campaigns, what tools you use, and what time frame you plan on running the campaign within.
There are three main types of social media marketing strategies: brand awareness, engagement, and response or action-based campaigns.
A lot of companies try to be all things to all people with their advertisements. That’s not a bad idea if it works, but for every person who clicks on the advertisement because they feel connected to the company, there's an equal amount of people that get annoyed by the ad and stop interacting with the company because they perceive them as too promotional.
So, whether it’t work or not depends on if the ads resonate more positively than negatively with potential customers.
Create engaging videos

A well-designed video can be a powerful way to market your business or product. Creating eye-catching, informative, and motivational videos is an excellent way to promote your company, product, or service.
Videos are typically two to three minutes long and use a narrative style reading voice. It’s important to include both action and explanation features in order to make their mark.
Action shots (such as holding up your phone or bottle) and explanatory notes (like “how to use this tool effectively” or “the benefits of using it correctly”) can be cut out and pasted in later.
Some examples of how to create effective marketing videos:
* Product reviews – these can be short (one minute or less!) commercials that talk about the products and why people should buy them.
* Introductionary videos – These are usually longer (a few minutes long) and focus more on giving some context to the product or story.
* Testimonials – Setting up a meeting, talking about the product, and having someone else praise it is a great way to get attention!
Video editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or YouTube allows you to edit and enhance photos and videos, respectively. Make sure to research different tools so you know what functions each one has before investing in any.
Create engaging images

When it comes to marketing via social media, one of the first things you will need is an easy way to create great pictures or photos.
There are many free image sharing sites out there that do not require you to be an artist to use their services. Most only ask that you can take good pictures!
Some of these sites offer paid plans as well, but even those are very affordable. If you are looking to streamline your production process, this could be helpful for you.
Alternatively, some people have designed apps that help manage all of your picture needs. These can be pre-designed pictures or ones you upload yourself.
Whatever style of photography you are best in – that’s what should matter when picking your stock photo material.
Distribute your content

As we mentioned before, you do not need every social media site to be your main source of marketing exposure. In fact, having too many accounts can hurt your business instead of helping it!
Instead of investing in all of these accounts, try limiting yourself to two or three major sites that you will use to promote your business. This way, you are still distributing content on the most popular platforms, but you also have time to focus on other areas such as blogging or research and development.
By distributing your content across several sources, your followers get exposed to different types of content which helps them form opinions about you and your business.
This is an important factor when it comes to building trust with your audience. So, even if you don’t have money to invest in additional marketing channels at this moment, don’t give up! You can easily spread your message through blogs, YouTube videos, and various chat applications.
Connect with your audience

The second key component in successful social media marketing is connecting with your audience. You should always be trying to create engaging conversations that appeal to them.
This means responding to their posts, comments, and messages, as well as creating discussions around things they’re talking about.
Your followers will feel connected to you and the brand if you actively participate in the community.
You can also promote yourself by posting pictures of yourself doing activities related to the business and sharing information about the company.
Running advertisements or promoting products is another way to connect with your audience and increase engagement.
Do not spam

A lot of people start off with great intentions when it comes to social media marketing, but then things take a turn for the worse. Spamming is one of the biggest reasons this happens.
Spammers will create accounts in various platforms such as Twitter or Facebook to promote their product or service. They will use these accounts to send out direct messages (DM’S) to as many users possible to gain attention for their product or service.
The number one rule about spam is – do not be it! Simply don’t bother interacting with spammers. If you come across someone that seems suspicious, ignore them and move along.
If you feel compelled to respond, simply say something like “I would never invest my time into your business if I thought it was a scam.
Think of ways to improve your campaign

Now that you have done some social media marketing, it is time to think about how to better yourself as a marketer. You can be more efficient with your computer programs, strategies, and products so that you do not have to spend as much time promoting or advertising for your business!
There are many things you can check into to see what works best for your company and yours as a individual user. Some of these things are free while others cost a little bit to use.
