A marketing kpi (or metric) is a way to measure how well your business is doing in relation to its goal. KPIs are typically numerical, such as sales or revenue, but they can be more qualitative as well.
Most marketers track at least one key performance indicator (KPI) throughout each stage of the selling process- from identifying potential customers to close deals.
Many also monitor the effectiveness of their advertising and promotional campaigns using metrics like engagement, reactions, views, shares, comments and conversions. These numbers help determine whether or not their strategies are working and what needs to be changed next!
Here are the five most common marketings KPIS used by B2C businesses.
Publish a blog post each week
Even if you are running a very successful business, there is always something new that you can be doing to promote your company. Whether it’s publishing an article on how to do your job better or launching a new product, most people run out of ideas once they reach their limit for creativity.
Running out of inspiration can hurt your business in several ways. You will start to feel like you are losing momentum and control over your own career, which isn’t a good feeling.
It also creates a sense of emptiness, because you have run out of things to do that make you feel productive and well-rounded as a professional. It may even create a bit of stress, since you don’t know what to do next.
Having a lack of creative energy is not only unproductive for you, but it can be frustrating for those around you who work for you.
Fortunately, this doesn’t need to hold you back anymore. In this article, we will discuss some easy tips for creating more content and promoting your business without too much effort.
Create a website

A website is probably your most powerful marketing tool in this digital age. With the explosion of technology, you can create almost any type of site that does something! Websites are an integral part of our daily lives as consumers.
We use websites to connect with others for social purposes, research products and services, and even do business online. It’s no wonder then that companies rely heavily on sites to grow their businesses.
Marketing departments spend lots of time coming up with creative ways to promote your company through sites like Facebook, Pinterest, and YouTube, but what about creating your own site?
That’s where things get tricky. How much money should you invest in your company’s website? What kind of content should you include? And how professional looking is too professional looking?
There are several different types of websites out there, so it may be hard to know which one fits your business best. This article will go into detail about some common website types and why they matter to your business.
#1- Business Website Basics
This type of website is usually just for introductions or announcements. They could be about the latest product launch, an upcoming event, or just because someone wanted to have one.
Some examples of these types of sites are Netflix, Amazon, or YourBusiness@Website.com.
Start a podcast

Starting your own podcast is not as difficult or expensive as some may make it out to be. There are lots of free ways to launch your podcast platform and media platforms like YouTube offer you software to start your podcast from scratch.
The key to success in launching your podcast is having a clear goal for each episode. What will this episode teach its listeners? If your message changes every time, then your audience won’t know what they are going to get until you publish the show!
Your podcast can focus on anything — how to do something, life lessons, interviews with professionals, funny stories, etc. The only thing that matters is that your listener gets value from it and wants to listen to more episodes.
Running a podcast takes time and effort but no one ever got rich being passive – people who made a fortune were hard workers before their big break. You have to believe in yourself and put in the work if you want to succeed, but there are many ways to achieve that.
Start a YouTube channel

Starting your own YouTube channel is an excellent way to launch your business or career! There are many benefits of having your own YouTube channel, but one of the biggest is that you get to use the platform to promote yourself and what you have to offer.
By creating a channel for your business, you can start building an audience who will be receptive to your messages and products. Your followers can watch you teach classes, review merchandise, and talk about life in and out of work.
You should consider starting your channel with your business so people can connect you to it. This helps build trust in your brand and demonstrates how much you care about what you sell.
Once you have built up this community, you can then use the platform to generate revenue via advertising or sponsored content. By sponsoring other YouTubers’ videos, their audiences will see your ad placement and may purchase your product or service looking us you from another source.
Running a YouTube channel is a great way to boost your profile while promoting your company. It’s also a cost-effective strategy if you are just beginning to gain popularity and feet across social media sites.
Create a Facebook page

A business has two main ways to gain exposure it is through social media marketing or having people come directly into their office for a tour. The first one depends on whether you have a large fan base already, while the second requires that you capture someone’s attention and keep them engaged.
Running a business means there are always things to do, so choosing which way to focus your energy can be tricky. For most companies, creating a facebook profile and posting occasional updates is the best bet.
Producing quality content and engaging with others on the platform is an excellent way to grow your audience. By adding more followers, you increase the likelihood of getting new impressions and traffic from other users who look up your brand.
By being consistent, you give your followers time to re-follow you and thus expose your account to more people.
Create a Twitter account

A business must have a way to interact with your followers, as well as gain new followers. You can use free applications such as Tweetdeck or Hootsuite to manage your accounts.
By having this software installed on your computer and phone, you are able to access your twitter from anywhere! This is very helpful since not everyone has internet at home so being able to access it that easily is important.
Having these apps also helps organize all of your messages and conversations into groups which makes it easy to find what you are looking for. Both of these things are very important in keeping up with social media etiquette.

Distribute promotional materials

As mentioned earlier, your marketing efforts will not pay off unless you are able to get in front of as many people as possible. This means distributing promotional items or advertising material that you create.
You can pick and choose what types of media to include in this step depending on how much money you have for ads. Some of the most common ways to do this are: business cards, fliers, brochures, emails, social media posts, direct messages on social networking sites, and more.
Making and distributing these things is expensive, which is why it is important to start spending money efficiently. There are several ways to save money while still staying within budget.
Surprise and unexpected giveaways are one of the best ways to use up all the free advertisements you’ve got! What we suggest doing is looking at the products and services you already supply your customers with and finding ones that they like or need. Then, try to combine those two together into a giveaway — even if you donen”t know what to call it yet.
Give them a reason to buy from you by telling them about the great service you provide and how their purchase benefits them. It’s an easy way to connect with your current audience and start building momentum.
Identify your target market

A few years ago, I read an article about how to win in the game of life. The writer mentioned that one of the key things you need to do is identify who your targeted audience is.
He gave the example of someone who wanted to learn how to play the guitar. They could not teach themselves unless they knew what kind of player their audience was.
If his or her audience was people who want to listen to pop songs then there are no lessons for them. You have to figure out who this audience is before you can teach them.
The same goes for business- only then will you be able to produce effective marketing campaigns and strategies.
You must know if your intended audience is made up mostly of young adults, middle school students, or high school seniors. Or whether it’s businesses looking to expand their customer base, etc.
This article will talk more about some of the ways to find this information.
